About the Church

St Peter’s Church is supported by the Church of England, the Methodist Church, the United Reformed Church and the Baptist Union.

It is a Christian community based in the middle of the Manchester universities. Our congregation is a diverse mix of people from many different cultures. We have a special welcome for international students, particularly with families. One Sunday per month we work with the minister to develop and lead worship ourselves.

We are an open, friendly and inclusive church which cares about global issues. We aim to provide a worship space which supports all who wish to explore the Christian faith and life.

We have close links with St Peter’s House Chaplaincy, chaplaincy to higher education in Manchester, and share St Peter’s House with them.
