Hope Methodist Church Rededicated.

Hope Methodist Church has re-opened its doors to the community, following a lively rededication service led by the President of the Methodist Church in the UK, the Reverend Michaela Youngson, and attended by the Mayor of Oldham, Cllr. Ginny Alexander.

The church will be able to support the local community of Failsworth, with space for groups and community associations, alongside a stunning new worship area.

The church, located on Oldham Road in Failsworth, had been planning the renovation work for several years. The work, which took nine months to complete, has created a range of facilities for groups. The church is already home to a well-established play group and young peoples’ organisations, but the new renovations allow for wider community use of the space.

 

The President, Rev.Michaela Youngson, the Mayor of Oldham, Cllr Ginny Alexander, local ward councillor Liz Jacques, and local minister Rev.Caroline Wickens, all delighted at the rededication of Hope.
