- promote the welfare of children, young people and adults
- work to prevent abuse from occurring
- seek to protect and respond well to those that have been abused.

Digital Communication
In line with the advice from the Methodist Church on digital communication strategies the Manchester Circuit uses social media as a means of extending our engagement with people both inside and outside of the church. Content is created with the following points in mind:
