The Ecumenical Accompaniment Programme in Palestine and Israel

On Sunday evening our guest, Judy Barber spoke to our worshippers about her experiences as an Ecumenical Accompanier in Israel/Palestine, supporting local people in resisting human rights abuses and working towards peace.

Judy shared information about The Ecumenical Accompaniment Programme in Palestine and Israel (EAPPI) which is an international programme coordinated by the World Council of Churches. It brings people from around the world to the West Bank to serve for three months as human rights monitors. We call them Ecumenical Accompaniers (EAs).

More information about the programme can be found here.
