World Mental Health Day 2023

A prayer for World Mental Health Day

Compassionate God, you have created each one of us – body, mind, and spirit – and you care for every part of our being.
In our fragility and vulnerability, remind us that to you we are treasure, we are loved, we are enough, and we are never alone.  At those times when anxiety, fear and confusion seem to overwhelm us, may your gentle presence bring peace and calm to our hearts and minds.
Help us to build a world where support for mental health is as important as support for physical health, where it is safe to be honest about the struggles we face and where everyone has access to the mental health care they need.
In the name of Christ, Amen

Revd Gill Newton – President of The Methodist Conference
