Christian Aid is inviting supporters in the North West and Staffordshire to join them for an online thanksgiving service to celebrate this year’s Christian Aid Week appeal.
The team is hosting the event via Zoom from 7pm, on Sunday, July 7, and will be joined by guest speaker Revd Canon Dr Ellen Loudon, Director of Social Justice and Canon Chancellor at Liverpool Cathedral.
Darren Staunton, Christian Aid Church Engagement and Fundraising Officer (CEFO), said: “Christian Aid Week may have ended but the fellowship and support for the work of our partners around the globe continues – and we’d like celebrate this and share our successes.”
Co-host and fellow CEFO Christel Langdon-Griffiths added: “We’re inviting supporters to join us for an ecumenical service of celebration, thanksgiving and reflection in which we’ll hear from various special guests and have time for prayer and worship.”
