Welcome to the Manchester Methodist Circuit. We are a fellowship of 20 Methodist churches, right across Manchester city and beyond. We worship God together, we work together to share God’s love and justice in our communities, we laugh and sometimes cry together. Our 1000 members come from many different countries and backgrounds, and we aim to help everyone feel at home.

Online worship via Zoom takes place from 6.30pm on Sundays. Please use the contact us section of this website to request joining details from Rev. Caroline Wickens. Details of Ministers hosting worship can be found here. Some of our churches are also holding alternative weekly services online or by phone. Please follow this link for details.

Alternatively, if you know someone who would like to share in a few minutes of reflective worship by phone, please encourage them to call this number 0161 850 2983, especially if they don’t use the Internet. They will hear one of the circuit ministers leading a short act of worship.

You may have seen that the Government is giving permission to churches to reopen for private prayer from Monday 15 June. The circuit property group has agreed this statement and strongly encourages churches to think very carefully about how to handle the risks of reopening in the current climate, where locally infection rates remain high.
