Almighty God,
Loving father, creator of Heaven and Earth, we thank you for this new month. We rejoice in the beauty of your nature all around us. As we look at the delicate petals on a flower to the awesome trunk of an Oaktree we are reminded of your power, your creativity, and your loving care. Help us Lord to stay rooted in you, keep us connected to your word and your truth. Water us and refresh us with your holy spirit, cut off every branch that is not bearing fruit and prune us so that we can be fruitful.
Lord as we open our churches and our new groups help us to be fruitful for your kingdom, sharing the good news of Jesus your son who died and rose again so that all who believe can be saved. Help us to remain in you, forgive us Lord when we have followed our own ideas and teachings, bring us to repentance so that we can grow as your disciples in the light of your word.
Lord we lift all who are suffering to you, all who are ill and all who are weary, we ask that they know your comfort and your peace. Help us Lord to Love and care for others as you Love and care for us.
