Vacancy: MCHM Stakeholder and Communications Manager

Methodist Central Hall, Manchester

is seeking a Stakeholder and Communications Manager for a permanent full time post (subject to review) based at the Oldham Street, Manchester site.

The post holder will be part of the ministry team and be responsible for:

  • Managing engagement activities with community groups to develop the work of MCHM as a hub for Social Justice for Manchester.
  • Taking responsibility for bringing together and managing partner groups to develop a creative co-working space.  This may also include organising events in the building.
  • Developing and implementing a Communications strategy for MCHM to increase the profile as a centre for Social Justice.
  • Identifying and applying for funding opportunities to further develop the mission of the ministry team

The salary scale for this role will be £30K, a pension scheme is available.

Annualised contract based on an average of 35 Hours per week – normal hours will be 9-5 (including lunch break), but with a requirement for some flexibility, which will include some evening and weekend work, by agreement with the line manager.
