Prayer of the Month, August 2021

Lord as we start a new Connexional year we pray for your blessing on the work of the Manchester Circuit.

The past year has been very difficult  and we are thankful for your grace and mercy that still upholds us and is enabling us to slowly get back into our church buildings.

We pray especially for ministers and lay employees starting/ending their roles; thinking especially of the Lowe family, Clare, Liz and myself.

We pray for the community of Methodist International House (MIH) that closed on 30th June and for those who are struggling to keep together despite no longer living in the same building.

We pray for all who need comfort, peace and healing at this time.

In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour.
