Reading
Now an angel of the Lord said to Philip, ‘Go south to the road – the desert road – that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.’ So he started out, and on his way he met an Ethiopian eunuch, an important official in charge of all the treasury of the Kandake (which means ‘queen of the Ethiopians’). This man had gone to Jerusalem to worship, and on his way home was sitting in his chariot reading the Book of Isaiah the prophet. The Spirit told Philip, ‘Go to that chariot and stay near it.’

Prayer
Lord, grant that I may always allow myself to be guided by You, always follow Your plans, and perfectly accomplish Your Holy Will. Help me respond to the slightest prompting of Your Grace, so that I may be Your trustworthy instrument for Your honour. May Your Will be done in time and in eternity by me, in me, and through me. Amen.

Gather five stones
You may wish to write a name on each one or choose which one represents each of your five. Some people might wish to paint the stone. Then take each one on your hand as you pray. Place them in a light-filled area of your home until you pray again. After the 11 days of Thy Kingdom Come, you might choose to keep the stones in a tub somewhere outside or on a window ledge, to remind you to pray every time you pass them.
