Father God, at the start of this new Connexional year, we ask you to be with those ministers and deacons who will be starting their ministry with new congregations. We ask that you be with them as they begin in difficult circumstances due to coronavirus.
We pray for all those churches who are returning to a new form of worship whilst keeping people safe.
We ask that You be with us all as we move through a time of uncertainty, whether it be with examination results, infection rates or possible local lockdowns. Please be with those who are finding themselves in stressful situations and are struggling to cope.
Finally we give thanks that Your church has continue to worship in so many different ways. We pray that, as we move into a different way of worship, we will take the opportunity to find new ways to praise and glorify Your name.
