Baby Basket is a key project of Moston Methodist church who work with health care professionals accepting referrals to help families with the provision of a basket packed full of essentials for mums and their newborns. Baby basket are always grateful for wonderful donations from across Manchester and volunteers are always welcome to help out Thursday mornings 10-12noon. Find out more about Baby Basket here.
Baby Basket have continued to support families in and around Moston throughout 2023. Highlights of the year include:
A wonderful donation of books for the babies and toddlers from Manchester Library service @ReadManchester.
Being adopted by a couple of knitting groups, who donated a selection of lovely bright cardigans, jumpers and blankets.
The team were delighted to receive a visit from Deacon Kerry Scarlett, Vice President of the Methodist Conference in mid November.
