Disability Awareness Sunday 17th September 2023

According to Scope, there are 16 million people in the UK with a disability. Sadly 3 out of 4 disabled people (72%) have experienced negative attitudes or behaviour in the last 5 years. Days such as Disability Awareness Day which takes please this Sunday, 17th October 2023 aim to raise awareness of the issues affecting those who are disabled and charities such as Scope campaign relentlessly to create a fairer society for disabled people and their families.
