Prayer for September 2025

Father God you call me to be still 

In this world of busyness 

Where a million thoughts rush through my brain

When emotions deep cry out their pain

When the struggle in life cause hope to drain

You call me to be still

 

Father God you call me to be still

To get off the conveyer belt of life

Where the demands of life scream at me

And there’s too many issues that I can’t see

Do you want me to stop and simply be

Still with you.

 

Please help me God to be still

Bring me to that place with you

Where intimacy with you I do know

Where I experience all the love you show

This is the place I want to go

And simply be with you.
