About the Church

At East Didsbury we are always pleased to welcome everyone who joins us. Whether you’d like to come for the occasional visit or with the intention of joining us on a frequent and regular basis, you will be most welcome.

Our Church family consists of about 70 people from children to over 90 years of age and we are trying to cater for everyone with a variety of styles of worship.

We hold traditional Methodist worship and a Sunday Club for children on Sunday morning at 10.45am, usually followed by tea, coffee or juice.

On the first Sunday in each month we also have early morning Worship for families. This consists of a simple breakfast from 9.00am, followed by stories, drama, games, crafts and a short quiet time from 9.30-10.00am.

There is no Sunday Club on the first Sunday of the month, when there is a family breakfast, and no Sunday Club on the third Sunday of the month when there is All-age worship.

You can request prayer at any of our traditional services and we regularly offer a prayer facility to our neighbourhood. Our Prayer Circle will then continue these prayers throughout the week. Specific prayers for healing are offered by our minister during some communion services.
Holy communion is offered once a month.

Baptisms and weddings can be arranged by contacting the minister.

We aim to be a Fair-Trade church, and frequently have a Traidcraft stall after worship on a Sunday morning and sometimes at other events.

Please access our website for more information.
